Dr. Helen Ancliff (female) MBBS, MRCP, DRCOG, MRCGP, DFSRH
Dr Helen Ancliff graduated at Newcastle University in 1991 and after a short spell in hospital medicine, became a GP at Kepier in 1996, at first as a GP trainee, becoming partner in 1998. She works part time. This was initially due to family commitments but as her family are now grown up, she spends her spare time walking, cycle, running and ballroom dancing.
Her special interests within general practice are contraception and diabetes.

Dr. Lucy Brain (female) MBBS, DRCOG, MRCGP
Dr Brain qualified from Newcastle University in 2006. She did her hospital jobs mainly in Sunderland. After qualifying as a GP she took 5 weeks off to travel in Asia and then started working at Kepier in 2011, becoming a partner in 2014. In her spare time she is a fanatical cyclist and takes her bikes around the world.
Dr. Nicola Mulgrew (female) MBBS, MRCGP, DFSRH
Dr Mulgrew qualified in Newcastle in 2001. She has worked in various hospital specialities across Sunderland, South Tyneside and Durham and also spent 18 months in Sydney, Australia on a GP exchange programme before returning to the North East to complete her GP training. She qualified as a GP in 2007 and has worked in various practices in Sunderland before settling permanently at Kepier since 2011. She has enjoyed doing a sabbatical in dermatology and has an interest in skin conditions and performs minor surgery within the practice. She also loves to teach and is a GP tutor for 1st and 2nd year medical students affiliated with both the University of Durham and the University of Newcastle, and has recently taken on teaching 3rd year medical students within the practice alongside Dr Cooke. In her spare time she enjoys to sing and is a long standing member of Inspiration Choir, the community choir of the Sage, Gateshead.
Dr. Alison Clayson (female) MBBS, MRCGP

SUSAN SMITH – RGN, NP, ANP
I qualified as a Nurse in 1985 at Sunderland. In 1987 I joined the Prison Service where I worked for 23 years, in that time I completed the Level One Nursing Course with a certificate in Nurse Higher Education in 1999 at Newcastle University. In 2003 I completed Nurse Prescribing and Supplementary Prescribing Course, I then went on to complete the Clinical Skills course at Sunderland University followed up by Minor injuries and Ailments course at Teeside University. Since leaving the Prison Service I have worked mainly in Primary care Walk – In Centres.
ALLISON COTCHER – HE/Dip/RGN, BSc Minor and Major Illness, Independent Nurse Prescriber.
I have worked mainly in prison and GP surgeries but have also spent time working in urgent care centres. I specialised in acute illness and injury but I do have interest in other areas such as asthma, contraception and HRT.
